Here are two hat patterns that we thought you might enjoy knitting for yourself, family, and friends. With all this cold weather we have been having a hat or two will come in handy! Ribbed Hat - Free PatternTove just knit these ribbed grey cashmere hats to send to her family in Norway. When we saw them, we asked her to write the pattern so we could share it with you. You can knit one in an evening and have it ready in no time to wear. Tove knit one hat in K2P2 and the other in K1 P1. You could use two colours and knit it in stripes. Have fun with it and let your creativity loose! Drop by the store and have a look at some of the alpacas and mini alpacas, cashmere and worsted yarn which all knit up so beautifully. Each hat takes about 2 balls depending on the yardage and gauge, The staff will be happy to help you figure out how much yarn you need to knit one of these hats. The pattern can be adapted to pretty much any yarn you choose to knit with.
Easy Beanie Hat - Free PatternTove knit these easy beanie hats a long, long time ago. They are knit on very large double pointed needles (12mm) and with 3 strands of yarn and knit up very, very quickly. The hats are nice and thick and will be nice and warm too. We asked her to figure out the pattern and write it down so we can share it with you. So she did and here it is. ![]()
Let's inspire together, by sending pictures of your finished hats so we can put them in the
