NEEDLES & KNITS
This is a free pattern designed by Megi Burcl. The mitts knit up quickly, look great and are so versatile. Sometimes it is nice to have one's hands covered but free from gloves. We have included the pattern here for you to download as we thought some of you might want to get a start on next year's Christmas knitting. LOL!
New classes are starting this month and next month. Please have a look at the classes being offered on the website page under Winter Classes
We have had many requests from customers, to have Tove write up the pattern of the mittens that her father, Maurius used to knit for his family every winter in Norway. So, as promised, we are passing on the tradition by providing you with a free pattern for the lace and cable mittens. With the unspring-like weather we are having, these mittens will definitely come in handy!
The actual mittens are also displayed at Needles and Knits Wool Shop, so come on in to get a close look at the intricate design work, before you begin your own mittens Be sure to send us a picture of your completed mittens to firstname.lastname@example.org to add to the Gallery.
Knit them in Sisu or Rowan 50 Merino/50 Cotton or any 4 ply yarn. Needles and Knits has a fantastic selection of colours in both yarns.
P. S. These mittens are not recommended for beginner knitters!
Here is the newest addition to the Needles and Knits' team. Sumbo has a baby! No, not that kind of baby - but a Havanese puppy and he is the cutest, sweetest, smartest little guy. Hi name is Dexter, and Marley doesn't quite what to make of him yet.
Happy Easter everyone form the Needles and Knits team
