NEEDLES & KNITS
WOOL SHOP
![]() Owls for some reason are all the rage right now. We didn’t really understand what the fascination was until we came across this picture on Pinterest and fell in love! It gave us the idea for this month’s blog. One of the many loyal customers of Needles & Knits, created her own owl pattern. So for all you who crochet, here is a great owl pattern that you can download. You can embellish bags, blankets, baby outfits, and hats – well basically anything if you let your imagination run wild. It is also a great way to use up yarn remnants and old buttons. Apparently, a group of owls is called a parliament. So here is Marian’s parliament that she crocheted. We would love to know how your owls turn out and where you decide they should “perch”. Let us know and send pictures so we can post them. Downloadable pattern below. ![]()

Corey, this pattern can be found on Ravelry. It's by Jared Flood and called Timberline. Tove has some Rowan worsted in a multitude of beautiful colours for $10.95 /100 gm ball. I love this pattern too and have 3 boys who after seeing it want me to knit it for them. Yikes!!!

These little round owls could be turned into holders for pot scrubbies ! Make another side, join only half way around and you can slide the scrubbies in when not in use !
