Eileen’s Travelling Stitch - Free Sock Pattern

Here is a free sock pattern for those of you who are sock knitters.  There is a great selection of sock yarn at Needles and Knits in solid and variegated colours.  If you need help while knitting these socks, just pop into the store and someone will be able to help you.
 
This pattern is one that was given to Tove by Eileen’s husband.  Sadly Eileen passed away and the socks were left unfinished.  Her husband brought them to Tove and asked her to finish them for him which she gladly did.  The travelling stitch gives some interest to the socks and if knit in variegated yarn, the pattern is still visible.
