Christmas is fast approaching and we all are looking for something different to serve our guests.
In Norway, juletid (Christmas time) is a celebration of traditions and family in Norway. Norwegians enjoy rich food and share julefryd (Christmas cheer) with friends and family. One of the Norwegian traditions is to serve salmon on Christmas Eve. Why not try this plank salmon that Tove makes for Christmas Eve for her family? Have a little bit of Norway in your Christmas! Plank Salmon Purchase your salmon filets (one large feeds about 6 people) and cedar planks (available at Home Depot, Canadian Tire – the planks that is). REMEMBER to soak the planks in water for at least one hour, overnight is better (so they don’t catch fire on the BBQ).
Serving Suggestions:
